BREAKING NEWS NASRALLAH TELLS ISRAEL YESTERDAY’S ATTACK WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED!
January 3, 2024TONIGHT Hezbollah leader, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah delivered his first speech since the Israeli drone strike on Beirut last night which killed Saleh al-Arouri, Hamas’s deputy leader, along with six other people.
In an hour-long televised address that was beamed around the world, Nasrallah spoke with fearless confidence sending a strong message to Israel that his undefeated militia, were ready and that its act of agression yesterday, reaching into the heart of the country, ”would not go unpunished”.
In his speech, Nasrallah was scathing against America and its support of the zionist states’s aggression against Gaza and the innocent civilians stating that the world had now witnessed the evil of Israel and the damage done to America’s standing in the world was irretrievable.
The Hezbollah leader held back from declaring war on Israel but said he would have more to say on Friday during his scheduled speech.
Concerns are rising across Lebanon and the region as to whether Nasrallah’s threat was tantamount to a precursor to launching all out war, however, officials believe that Hezbollah has intentionally not widened the conflict with Israel, despite aggressive and persistent attempts, such as the attack on Dhaye last night, by Israel to draw it into a full blown war.
Lebanon is enduring a chronic multi-faceted economic, health, education, political and banking crisis that has continued since early 2020, with around 80% of the population living below the poverty line. A war at this stage would send the country into deeper crisis and hardship for the citizens. Nasrallah is aware of these conditions and also must juggle the political standing of his party should Hezbollah unilaterally decide to go to war against Israel without the full backing of all political groups, the Lebanese Army and government.
But time is ticking and Israel is threatening further unprovoked attacks against Lebanon. The question is how long and how much must Lebanon endure from Israel before someone, Hezbollah, the Lebanese Army or the international community says ENOUGH?
English Script:
Sayed Hassan Nasrallah: What happened yesterday is a very dangerous matter. There are two crimes: there is the killing of Sheikh Saleh and his companions, this in itself is a major and serious crime, and there is the bombing in the southern suburb. This is the first time something like this has happened since 2006. Well, we received messages last night and then some Israeli officials spoke in the media and said we did not target Lebanon, we did not target Hezbollah and that Hezbollah is not concerned with what happened. Our problem is with Hamas, and we have settled our problem with them. You have nothing to do with it. Who believes this? Except children and cowards. All of these threats and warnings, that you’re hearing, of course I do not want to warn and threaten. I just want to rely on all the past to say two sentences at the end of my speech. The first sentence: Until now, we are fighting on the front with precise calculations, and therefore we are paying a high price with the lives of our young people. I will further explain on Friday. But if the enemy thinks of waging a war against Lebanon, then our fighting will be without limits, without rules, and without controls, and they know what I am talking about. Our men, our missiles, our capabilities, our potential, our threat, and everything we mentioned in the past years, instead of talking about it again, it is enough for me to mention it only to say that we are not afraid of war, nor are we hesitant. If we were afraid, we would have stopped fighting on the front. The Americans threatened us, and the French sent long messages, also the English, the Germans, and many others. Did we stop? Have we backed down? Did we hesitate? never. Whoever thinks about getting into war with us, in one word, they will regret it, God willing. War with us would be very expensive. If until now we have been considering the Lebanese situation and the Lebanese national interests, then if a war is launched against Lebanon, then the Lebanese national interests require that we fight this war until the end without restrictions. Regarding the incident yesterday, the resistance promised, albeit under different circumstances. There was no war and change in many of the equations of the conflict, but this will not change the promise at all. The crime yesterday was a major and serious one and cannot go unanswered, and the matter does not require talking, as we said in Hezbollah statement yesterday, this serious crime will not go unanswered and unpunished. What separates us is the battlefield, the days and the nights. Goodbye.
