121 CITIES ACROSS 45 COUNTRIES JOIN GLOABAL DAY OF ACTION

Pro-Palestine protests were held all around the world as part of a ‘global day of action’ against the war in Gaza. Protesters marched across 121 cities in 45 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and North America. The worldwide call to action was spearheaded by a coalition of British organisations, aiming to ‘intensify international pressure for a permanent ceasefire and dismantle Israeli apartheid,’ in response to the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Israel’s military assault on Gaza has resulted in over 23,210 Palestinian deaths and has left more than 60,000 wounded.
