PARCHED PALESTINIANS DRINK DIRTY WATER WHILE ISRAEL BOMBS WATER TRUCKS
February 8, 2024The ongoing conflict in Gaza has led to a dire humanitarian situation, with innocent civilians, including children, facing severe shortages of clean water. Recent reports highlight the devastating impact of the conflict on access to safe drinking water for Palestinians in the region.
The chronic situation has forced civilians to risk their health by consuming unsafe water sources, exacerbating the already precarious conditions in Gaza with the threat onset of famine and disease increasing.
Tragically, the situation worsened when Israel bombed a water distribution truck in Gaza today, resulting in the deaths of 13 Palestinian civilians, including seven children, who were in desperate need of water.
This reprehensible act further demonstrates Israel’s complete disregard for internaitonal humanirtarian law and the provisional measures issued by the International Court of Justice, warning Israel that if it did not comply with the measures it would be facing charges of GENOCIDE.
I think if is far too late for IFs. The compounding facts speak for themselves.
The international community MUST ACT NOW to end further loss of life.
WHAT is the United Nations General Assembly waiting for?
Is there no nation that will step up and take the next steps necessary by using the mecahnisms within the UN Charter that will force ISRAEL to end its brutal slaughter?
The world failed the Hutus in Rwanda allowing nearly 800,000 civilians to be mercilessly butchered by the Tutis’s in 1994, they stood by while 25,000 Rohingya muslims were exterminated by the Myanmar Junta in 2016, Congo and Sudan are today facing mass death, will they, WILL WE sit by and watch hundreds of thousands of Palestinians be annihilated by an evil Israeli regime bent on destroying our humanity?
They talk of action but still there is only INACTION.
