U2’s BONO DISGRACEFUL FOR SUPPORTING ZIONISTS
February 23, 2024Renowned Pink Floyd musician and activist, Roger Waters has voiced a pointed critique of fellow musician, U2 lead singer, Bono’s stance on Zionism.
Waters, wellknown for his outspoken advocacy for Palestinian rights, expressed disgust at Bono’s support and mention of those “”beautiful kids at the music festival”” referring to the people killed at the Nova Music Festival in Israel on October 7, without referencing or having spoken out against the decades of atrocities committed by Israel against the Palestinians.

During the Las Vegas concert, Bono performed a song touching upon themes of nonviolence in the context of recent conflicts in Israel and Gaza, Waters seized the opportunity to address what he viewed as a misguided endorsement of Zionism. He characterized Bono’s actions, particularly the inclusion of references to the Star of David in his performance, as “”disgusting and degrading.””

You know, we have to start speaking to these people and just saying your opinion is so disgusting and degrading when you stand up for the Zionist entity. What he did in the Sphere in Las Vegas couple of weeks ago singing about the stars of David was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen in my life.
