ARIEL SHARON REVEALS THE CUNNING MENACHEM BEGIN & THE REAGAN PLAN
March 12, 2024Israel has never had any intention of giving Palestinians their own state so what this video clearly reveals is that the past 50 years of “peace talks” between Israel and the Palestinians have been all LIES!
Former Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, admits in this video that this has always been Israel foreign policy – never allow a Palestinian state to be created.
During this historic video from 1982 on the ‘Israeli Diary with Stanley Rosenblatt’ show, the then Defense Minister Sharon states that there already exists a Palestinian state in Jordan and that any legislation that could potentially lead to the creation of a ‘second’ Palestinian state would never be acceptable to Israel. He goes on to discuss how Prime Minister Menachem Begin cunningly ensured Israel would maintain control of security over all of the Occupied Territories by insisting the word “beyond” be included in the text of the Reagan peace plan negotiated at Camp David.
This is fascinating and sobering at the same time.
Background: Ariel Sharon was an Israeli general and politician who served as the 11th Prime Minister of Israel from 2001 to 2006. He was born in 1928 in what was then called Mandatory Palestine. Sharon played a significant role in the 1948 war as a platoon commander and was instrumental in establishing Unit 101. This unit was responsible for carrying out retaliatory attacks across state borders to counter the Fedayeen, which included attacking villages. In 1953, the Qibya massacre occurred, resulting in several civilian deaths. Sharon was involved in all of Israel’s major conflicts, including the 1967 and 1973 wars.
As Defense Minister, he directed the 1982 invasion of Lebanon. He was later found to bear “personal responsibility” for the Sabra and Shatila massacre in an official inquiry conducted by the Israeli government. As a consequence of this, he was removed from his post as Defense Minister. However, he became the head of Likud in 1999 and was later elected as the Prime Minister in 2001.

Ariel Sharon: We cannot accept and will not allow a second Palestinian state because there is a Palestinian state in Jordan, which is part of Palestine, not even a state, but even a corridor to a state, because that is a major threat to our security and existence. So when the Reagan plan uses terms like self-government or a homeland, you regard that as a corridor to a state.
It is a corridor for a state but as has been said at Camp David, the autonomy plan for five years of the transitional period and beyond. That means it’s unlimited time and then, of course, the Reagan plan…
Host: And the word, that one single word “beyond” was negotiated for a long, hard time as I understood it. Begin was very firm on that word.
Ariel Sharon: This word “beyond” I think it took three days and three nights for prime minister Begin to struggle for. And even in those days, sometimes we couldn’t understand why he was so firm and strong about it. But as we can see now. He was very right about it, doing that. And that was in order to keep in our hands the security. So therefore, we cannot allow any possibility of any I would say, a state or a corridor that will bring to a state. When it comes to security, that will be Israeli responsibility, now and forever.
