The US only seeks to promote its OWN interests and the CIA is the vehicle it deploys around the world to ensure it wins.
CIA veteran Philip Agee honestly admits in this grab that no one in the CIA cares about democracy.
Former CIA veteran, Philip Agee, provides important insight into the real mission of the CIA, which is not to protect Democracy in the USA or abroad, but rather identify leaders and governments that are willing to work with the USA to serve their political and economic interests.
If a country had an elected government and cooperated with the US, then this, of course, is good. But if it didn’t, then democracy meant nothing, and Agee thinks it’s unlikely that democracy means anything today.
What happened in Iran when they overthrew Mossadegh? What about their cooperation with Gulf dictators? What about helping overthrow Mohamed Morsi in Egypt who was democratically elected?
The evidence is endless.
