ISRAELI SOLDIERS FIGHTING IN GAZA ARE COMMITTING SUICIDE

This is not a new phenomenon but now it is reaching new heights.
Reports from Israeli media and military sources have been documenting the growing number of IDF soldiers taking their own lives following the heinous crimes they have been forced to commit against innocent Palestinian children, women and men for decades.
But new reports and this video of families of IDF soliders speaking to the Israeli Knesset this week, reveals how devastating and serious a problem it has become following the unthinkable atrocities being committed in Gaza over the past nearly six months.
In some instances, their families had to watch their suicide attempts being livestreamed on Facebook.
“Israeli soldiers are ordered to do things that go against their moral values…and they are left with this terrible burden which evolves into depression and eventually leads to suicide,” one witness states.
The average IDF soldier is paid a paltry US$1000 per month and that is only once they reach their third year of service.
What we need to ask is why is this being kept hidden from the world and why is there a media blackout on it?
Maybe because it would show how disfunctional and divided the Israeli military really is and how desperate the government is to recruit new soldiers.
This became apparent two weeks ago when the Israeli government passed a new law making it compulsory for religious Jews to undertake military service. Prior to this religious Jews were exempt from military service because it goes aganinst their beliefs to wage war and they are opposed to the right-wing beliefs of the Netanyahu government of ethnically cleaning Palestinians from their homeland. These religious Jews have been rioting and protesting against the new order and many are being jailed to avoid joining the military.
