Francesca Albanese: I’ve been spending the last four months documenting, investigating, providing context, analyzing Israel’s conduct of hostilities. Israel’s statements, the statements by political leaders and military leaders, and the actions of troops on the ground. I’ve concluded that Israel is committing genocide. I will present a fully detailed report to the Human Rights Council next week which explains the facts, the context and the legal analysis to argue why that is. I mean, I concluded that Israel is committing genocide. I’ve said it before together with other experts. But I’m articulating why now.
