MOTHER PLEADS FOR MALNOURISHED TRIPLETS AT 8-MONTHS OF AGE THEY ONLY WEIGH 2KGS
March 27, 2024A woman from Gaza City who fled to the south with her malnourished triplets was interviewed by photographer Ashraf Abu Amira @ashra_famra.
Escaping the destruction and hunger that ravaged their home in the vicinity of Al Shifa’ Medical complex, she sought a new and safer beginning for her children.
At 8-months-old, born just two months before the war, the triplets weigh only 2 kilos each.
Their physical development is severely compromised, evident in the lack of fullness in their arms and legs, hindering their ability to crawl or take their first steps.
