BREAKING NEWS IRELAND JOINS SOUTH AFRICA’S CASE AT ICJ AGAINST ISRAEL

Ireland will intervene in the International Court of Justice case filed by South Africa against Israel supporting the case for genocide in Gaza.
“Analysis and consultation has now concluded. Ireland will be intervening,” Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence, Micheál Martin, said.
“I want to reiterate clearly what we witnessed on October 7 in Israel, and what we are currently seeing in Gaza, constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law on a massive scale.”
“We believe there is a case, given how this war has been conducted. We will be inviting the court to consider the issue of broadening how you determine whether genocide has taken place or not on the basis of an entire population being collectively punished.”
For context, in late December 2023, South Africa filed a suit against Israel at the ICJ, accusing it of committing genocide in Gaza. The court issued provisional measures on January 26th requiring Israel to report back within a month. That report was submitted on Feb. 26, although it hasn’t been published.
Meanwhile, Israel continues its blatant human rights violation and ethnic cleansing of the Palesitnian people.
Bravo IRELAND! We need more countries backing this case! In the case of Ukraine, OVER 30 COUNTRIES backed their ICJ case against Russia. What is happening in Gaza has a DRASTICALLY higher death rate and MUST garner more support.
