GERMANY ANNOUNCES $48.7 MILLION FOR UNRWA BUT EXCLUDES GAZA!
March 29, 2024The #German government has announced a $48.7 million fund for UNRWA offices in #Lebanon, #Syria, #Jordan, and the #WestBank of occupied #Palestine BUT EXCLUDED GAZA!
Germany was amongst the countries that previously paused funding to UNRWA alongside the United States. Before this, Germany was the SECOND BIGGEST contributor to UNRWA, behind the United States.
The hypocrisy of the governments of major western nations wanting to be perceived as defending justice and international law continues to be exposed with Germany joining the ranks of the USA, UK, Australia, Turkey, Canada, The Netherlands and several others who have allegedly shifted their foreign policy against Israel, while continuing to arm it with weapons or cut off aid that would save the lives of millions of Palestinians facing the worst famine conditions the world has ever witnessed.
How DISGUSTING! We need an overhaul of all of our governments. We need to VOTE for ethical leaders not power-hungry pretenders!
