PEGASUS-NO FLYING HORSE! IT’S THE ISRAELIS SPYING ON YOUR PHONE
March 30, 2024Not only is ISRAEL now a pariah state that does not abide by any international laws or conventions and is actively conducting a genocide againt the Palestinian people, this war continues to reveal how ugly and how absent of morals this apartheid, fascist, messianic regime is and how long and deep its toxic tentacles reach into OUR everyday lives.
We are all well aware that all smart phones can SPY on their users through the camera or microphone. Many reports have been published detailing this situation.
The camera and microphone you’re using right now could be seen and heard by someone remotely if your phone is infected with the ISRAELI spyware called PEGASUS.
Commandeering a name that more appropriately would be associated with fairytales, rainbows and flying horses, the Pegasus technology is far from magical for those whose phones are infected with it.
Pegasus is spyware made by the Israeli technology company NSO Group, and it is making headlines again after it was reported that the Israeli police used it for spying on dozens of its own citizens – including senior government officials and protesters rallying against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The report brought a months-long international scandal into the world’s most infamous hacker-for-hire company back to full circle, following reports that it was used by governments across the world to spy on activists, journalists, and even heads of state.
The most well-known case of its use was against Saudi journalist Jamal Kashoggi whose wife’s phone was infected with the Pegasus spyware and was used to track Kashoggi and led to his assassination at the Saudi consulate in Turkey in 2018.
What’s important to note is that ISRAEL is SPYING on ALL OF US!

Josh Rushing: Hey, did you know that the camera microphone you’re using right now can be seen and heard by someone remotely? If your phone is infected with the spyware called Pegasus, in fact, the users can have access to your camera, your microphone, photos, videos, all your teams, your social media, your texts, emails, they can even send and receive messages. They can have your exact location. They can even have your health data. And these aren’t hackers or shadowy figures from the dark web. Pegasus assaulted governments, governments like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Mexico, an Israeli spyware firm called NSO Group. And there have been dozens of reported cases of it being used against human rights activists and journalists. We actually interviewed victims of Pegasus in Mexico and associates of Jamal Khashoggi in London for an episode of Fault Lines called Targeted by a Text. Our reporting led us to a New Jersey mansion where Omri Lavie lived. The owner of NSO, and knocked on his door to ask him questions about the business of sneaking into people’s private lives. Omri, we ask you a few questions. I’m a journalist with Al Jazeera, Josh Rushing I host a show called Faultlines. Can we ask you a few questions?

Josh Rushing: I want to get a statement from you.
Omri Lavie: Excuse me. This is private property, so I would ask you to kindly leave. Go away.
Josh Rushing: Just one statement. Why do you continue to sell to governments that use Pegasus to target human rights activists and journalists?
Omri Lavie: Go away or I’ll call the police
Josh Rushing: He said go away or I’ll call the police. Because of all the reporting about governments abusing Pegasus, the US government blacklisted the company in 2021.
You know the old saying about ‘Never let a serious crisis go to waste NSO certainly does’. They’re now spending millions of dollars to lobby the U.S. government to try to get it off the blacklist. On November 7th, exactly one month after the Hamas attack on Israel, sent a written letter requesting to urgently meet with the secretary of state. How do I know? Here’s the email. Here are the letters. And these are courtesy of our good friends and journalist over at The Intercept. In the letter, the partner Timothy DICKERSON, uses the specter of alleged rising anti-Semitism as a reason for the U.S. government to have this incredibly invasive spyware.
