ISRAELI’S MERCILESS ONSLAUGHT ON GAZA CLAIMS MORE CHILDREN
May 5, 2024As Israel tries to distract the world’s eyes from the onslaught that they continue to wage against innocent civilians in Gaza, by claiming protests across campuses in the US and around the world are “anti-semitic, violent, anti-Jew” – ALL FALSE – Palestinian children continue to bare the brunt of Israel’s evil with more children martyred over the weekend.
Israeli airstrikes targeted homes, hospitals and shelters leaving scores injured and many dead and a trail of destruction that is unbearable to see.
Some of the targets included the home of journalist Hassan Asalih which was completely destroyed after an air strike as well as the Palestine Red Crescent Al Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis. Despite the extensive damage, the hospital staff were able to organise themselves to continue to stay open, albeit only partially and at a limited capacity.
As the dead bodies of civilians, mostly children, mount, one wonders what it will take to move our political leaders to end this catastrophe.
