Daizy Gedeon: When I was deputy foreign editor at the Australian newspaper in Australia, working for Murdoch, for you know, nearly 18 years. And I was, one of the youngest foreign editors, my editor in chief said to me, you know, that I’ve never seen more stories about Lebanon make it into our newspaper because as the editor, as a foreign editor, you get to choose or pitch. You have to go into that news conference in the morning and pitch stories for the front page for the world pages or whatever. And I said to him, have any of the stories been unjustified? And he said, no. And that this is the point. I was in the seat where I had power, power to review all the stories that were coming out at the time. And you had, you know, multiple stories around the world. We had the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the disintegration of Yugoslavia, the outbreak of war in between Bosnia Herzegovina and Serbia, Croatia and all that. So, we were covering a lot of stuff. But the point is you need people in those positions who know how to discern the information, to deliver that information up to the editors in chief and up the line to your news editors, whether you’re in TV, radio and newspapers. And so the narrative we’ve seen how the media has been hijacked by Zionist elements around the world, and that’s been a campaign for decades now, and when you look at who controls the media globally, it is those elements. And that’s why their narrative, the Zionist narrative, the imperialistic narrative of America and those aligned with it get far more exposure and airtime than other voices. And, this is where we have this problem with Lebanon’s image, identity and purpose being reduced, so limited and taken over by those that want to make it easier for countries like Israel to attack Lebanon, because we are part of the axis of evil. We are part of this, you know, the Iran grouping.
