Extraordinary Leaders of All Nations International: Daizy Gedeon Named Women of the Year
March 8, 2025International Women’s Day is not about awards and accolades. It is about recognising and honouring the important role women MUST and ARE and HAVE ALWAYS played in shaping our world, our societies, our businesses, our communities, our families and lives around the issues that most matter – PEOPLE!
Women at their essence are not transactional. We are not focused on competition and winning because we want everyone to win and we know that is possible. Most women prioritise being gentle, understanding, kind, thoughtful, and humane. Our children, our families, our friends, our neighbours, our country, our identity, our rights, equality, integrity, humanity MATTER! These qualities do not make us the weaker gender but rather the more complete, stable, progressive gender. We can be competitive, we can be transactional, we can focus on the $$ deal $$, but we CHOOSE to lift, improve and empower ALL of US rather than ME or I.
And for these and many, many more reasons I will continue to champion the rise of women and girls into powerful roles, political positions, institutional heads, global leadership because we need to get to the top to change the trajectory of our world to one that serves and respects everyone equally and justly.
So today on this special day, it is my humble honour to accept this acknowledgement from @loaniglobal – the Leaders of All Nations International Global Society and wish to pass on my heartfelt thanks to Prof. Caroline Makaka for her relentless pursuit of female empowerment. My deep grtitifue to Viola Edward @the.viola.edward for her support and belief in my work and commitment to humanity.
