Daizy Gedeon: How bad was Israel hit?
Philip Giraldi: There was significant damage. The Iranians were very good at hitting targets, like spy headquarters, like airports, like military installations. And the Israelis, to this day, have continued their censorship over just how bad the damage was. The reason why we even have this kind of ceasefire in place right now is because the Israelis asked for it. They really are the ones who needed it.
Daizy Gedeon: This just a lull? Where we can expect that Iran and Israel will be back at war sometime soon.
Philip Giraldi: I think most of the people who are observing this believe it’s a lull. We have Mr. Netanyahu in Washington right now. He’s trying to basically create a situation whereby the United States will do the heavy lifting, and reinforce the Israeli forces and bring about either a regime change in Iran or some complete dissolution of Iran’s defensive and offensive capabilities. They are basically going to try to rig this system so that the United States is involved.
Daizy Gedeon: So, when you say rig the system, do you mean false flag?
Philip Giraldi: Yeah.
Daizy Gedeon: Will the world be fooled again and allow this to happen?
Philip Giraldi: No, the world won’t be fooled at all. But that doesn’t mean anything. The presumed war against Iran just didn’t go their way. And now they’re basically looking to rebuild their capabilities and somehow either coerce or drive the United States or fool the United States into joining in with them.
