Lucas Febraro: Israeli national football team has just unveiled its new uniforms. And you see that logo? That’s Reebok’s, a company now sponsoring genocide, occupation and apartheid against Palestinians. These are the first Israel Football Association uniforms made by Reebok. Why? Because this is a brand new contract signed just months ago after Israel’s genocide in Gaza was already well underway. Reebok wasn’t caught in some old deal, they went out of their way to sign it. Meanwhile, Israel hasn’t just obliterated Gaza, home to over 2 million Palestinians who had already been trapped under decades of occupation. It has also committed sporticide, killing hundreds of Palestinian athletes, wiping out entire generations of talent and reducing Gaza’s sports infrastructure to rubble. On top of that, the IFA also includes clubs from illegal settlements built on occupied Palestinian land. So tell us, Reebok, was it worth it? How much money buys you this level of depravity?
