Sophia: First of all, Israel does not bomb hospitals.
River Wand: Right. So, Sophia, I’m going to have to challenge you on this one. Looking at my notes here, it actually looks like Israel bombed 36 hospitals. And based on that, do you know how many hospitals are in Gaza? It’s actually 36. This year alone in May, Israel bombed ten hospitals in one week.
Sophia: The command center of this terrorist organization is underneath a hospital.
River Wand: Right. The command centers under every single school and hospital in Gaza that no outside media sources are allowed to see.
Sophia: Israel made tens of thousands phone calls to Palestinians to Gazans asking them to leave.
River Wand: So Israel was calling Palestinians to get them to leave a hospital before they bombed it. What are people usually in hospitals for? So where I’m from, people usually go to hospitals when they’re sick or injured and considering Israel is bombing everything in Gaza. There was probably a lot of injured people in these hospitals. How do you expect someone who just got their limbs blown off to leave a hospital? Do you think a parent carrying their injured child is checking their text messages?
Sophia: And they were crying back to Israel and telling them that Hamas took their car keys. They cannot leave.
River Wand: The Palestinians were leaving voicemails in voice messages to Israel saying that Hamas was going door to door, stealing people’s car keys so they couldn’t drive away. Sophia, what in God’s name are you talking about?
