Anthony Aguilar, Retired U.S. Army Green Beret and whistleblower, and Josephine Guilbeau, U.S. Army Veteran and human rights advocate, were forcibly removed and arrested at a Senate hearing in Washington, D.C.
Why? They dared to call out America’s complicity in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Aguilar risked everything to expose abuses at U.S.-backed Gaza aid sites, showing the world how the very aid meant to help Palestinians was being weaponized. And for speaking truth to power, the U.S. government turned its own veterans into criminals.
