Ash Bae: Israeli settlers are trying to sell land in Lebanon as illegal Israeli settlements. Yeah, for all of you people who never talk about Lebanon, could give a fuck less about Lebanon. Lebanon is actively occupied by Israel. They are trying to sell Lebanese land as Israeli settlements. The Uri Tzafon Israeli settler colonial movement recently posted this map promoting land sales in Lebanon. They completely erased the names of Lebanese towns and replaced them with Hebrew names instead. They’ve also begun listing properties in this zone. Homes of displaced Lebanese who have been unable to return to their homes because of Israeli occupation. Israel has maintained occupation in five points in this area, something that is a violation of the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah. They were meant to pull out of those occupation areas as per the ceasefire agreement. Instead, however, they’ve begun constructing a wall, a wall separating the south from the rest of the country and preventing displaced Lebanese from returning and rebuilding. This is the epitome of the Greater Israel Project: expansion, border redrawing, and the normalization of land theft.
