Amsterdam should have been a night of football, unity, and celebration —
instead, it became a scene of violence and fear.
According to Amsterdam’s Chief Inspector Craig Guildford, Muslim fans were attacked, Palestinian flags were ripped from their hands, and people were even thrown into the river by Maccabi ultras.
This wasn’t “clashes.”
This wasn’t “tension.”
This was targeted intimidation — fueled by hatred, protected by silence, and dismissed until the police themselves were forced to acknowledge it.
The violence wasn’t coming from the people waving flags —
but from the ones trying to tear them down.
