ISRAEL BEGINS A NEW PHASE OF AIR STRIKES AGAINST LEBANON
Over the weekend and into Monday, Israeli warplanes carried out dozens of airstrikes across southern Lebanon, including areas north of the Litani River, with intensive bombardment reported in Kfar Hatta, Jbaa, Jezzine, and surrounding villages. The strikes caused widespread destruction to homes and buildings, leaving entire neighborhoods damaged in towns along the border.
Lebanon’s health ministry confirmed that a Lebanese municipal official was killed in a strike on a car in Bint Jbeil city in the south.
Lebanon is not a battlefield.
