Mark Ruffalo Praises Film Highlighting Palestinian Love, Loss, and Resilience: “I Was So Moved by Their Grace”
January 12, 2026
“I WAS SO MOVED BY THE GRACE THAT THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE HAVE”
Mark Ruffalo praises All That’s Left of You, a powerful film that centers Palestinian grace, love, loss, and resilience, telling a human story too often silenced, with care, depth, and dignity.
When art tells the truth, it becomes resistance.

English Script:
Mark Ruffalo: When I saw the film, I was so satisfied. Something that had been cloying at me for a long time, which was how did we get to this place? How did we get to October 7th? How did we get to a place where a genocide could happen and not have the world respond in a way that was appropriate, that had to do with the film’s subject matter, which is really the Palestinian experience, starting from the creation of Israel, the displacement of the Palestinian people and the oppression and of the occupation. But also what I was so moved by, it was a grace that the Palestinian people have in the face of this, in the way Cherien tells the story of that Grace. I was brought to tears.
