They weren’t “neutral.”
They picked a side.
While Gaza was being starved, McDonald’s was handing out free meals to Israeli soldiers.
Burgers for the army. Bombs for civilians. Silence for the dead.
This isn’t just bad PR.
It’s corporate complicity.
When a brand feeds an occupying army while an entire population is denied food, water, and aid, that brand becomes part of the crime.
That’s why the boycott didn’t come out of nowhere.
And that’s why it still matters.

Guy Christensen: You’re going to hate McDonald’s after you hear about this, but they were donating unlimited free meals to tens of thousands of IDF soldiers when Israel began their genocide of the Palestinian people. McDonald’s was giving away so many free meals that they set up a new location close to Gaza just so they could give more to the IDF. And these soldiers, these mass murderers, took the meals into Gaza and littered them all over the place. That’s why we have photos like this. Mcdonald’s directly tied their brand and face to the genocide of the Palestinian people. And because of that, a massive boycott was launched against them, which has caused them to lose billions of dollars in sales and stock price in the past almost two years. But that’s not all. The worst part is that in the Middle East was where McDonald’s sales suffered the most from this boycott. And so, to reward the franchise in Israel, McDonald’s purchased 225 locations back from the owner who originally started donating the meals to the IDF, making him extremely rich for what he did. So now the McDonald’s Corporation owns every location in Israel and provides the Israeli government with tax revenue, which they use to maintain their ethno state, their apartheid system over the Palestinians and commit their genocide. It really shows you what side McDonald’s is on when they’re providing free meals to mass murderers. As the people of Gaza have no food or water. That’s why we all must join in on the ongoing boycott against McDonald’s. Their Happy Meals fund war crimes. They’re feeding us and killing them. McDonald’s must pay.
