Important to continue to share stories from Israeli hostages released by Hamas, especially when they are being interviewed by their own media because it is more likely to be truthful.
In this interview, an Israeli captive explains her experience and how as hostages they realised how expendable they were to the Israeli government.
“We are not the priority of the Israeli government,” she said explaining how all the hostages were terrified they were going to be killed by the Israeli bombing, not Hamas.
She said it was hard to explain to her children, who were taken hostage with her, that it was the Israeli Army who were supposed to be protecting them, that might be trying to kill them.
It opened up her eyes about her own government.
