PRO-PALESTINE DEMONSTRATIONS IN SAIDA
October 21, 2023In the heart of Saida, one of Lebanon’s vibrant cities, Palestinians and Lebanese stood in solidarity with the people of Gaza and Israel, united in our plea for peace and justice. The crisis unfolding in the Middle East isn’t confined to one region – it has the potential to affect us all.
The consequences of this crisis are being felt here in Lebanon, where tensions are mounting, frustrations are rising, and the fear that this crisis might spill over into Lebanon is rising.
The Lebanese have endured one crisis after another – economic turmoil, the devastating explosion of 2020, and the weight of the past four years. They’ve been pushed to the brink, and Lebanon cannot bear another war.
Our plea is a universal one, transcending borders and cultures. It’s a call to reason, peace, and empathy. We urge not just the Arab world but countries worldwide, including China, America, Russia, and France, to come together and support the cause of a free Palestine. Now, more than ever, the world must unite for a peaceful and just resolution.

and sensibility to push for a ceasefire
