A British university — a place meant to educate, enlighten, and challenge injustice — has hired a man who once bombed civilians.
A lecturer who proudly served in the Israeli Air Force during the brutal 1980s invasion of Lebanon, when refugee camps were leveled and entire families erased.
When students found out, they refused to stay silent.
They stood up in that lecture hall and said what the administration wouldn’t:
War criminals are not welcome here.
Because how can any institution claim to uphold human rights while employing those who once helped destroy them?
How can education coexist with impunity?
