Inside the GLA Power Circle: Meet the Global Lebanese Alliance Board Leading a Global Movement
More than three years ago, a small group of Lebanese diaspora group leaders and individuals who were aligned on the importance of ensuring new, fresh, change, reform-minded MPs were elected in the 2022 elections, realised that if we joined forces through some official structure, our impact would be far greater.
So, we agreed to work together to define the HOW, WHO, WHERE and WHAT – because we already knew the WHY!!
What followed were years of meetings, working groups, and lengthy discussions across continents (the gradual shaping of a common purpose.) Every detail was debated and refined to build something that could last and serve Lebanon.
But, in June 2025, after much hard and dedicated work…WE DID IT!
We officially voted and, with an overwhelming majority, were given the mandate to form the Global Lebanese Alliance.
The GLA’s Board reflects the more than forty people who contributed to this journey and helped bring the Alliance from an idea to a functioning body. The Board’s role is to carry forward the spirit of cooperation, perseverance, and shared responsibility that defined our work from the very beginning.
Our determination is that the GLA will endure into the future as a model of cooperation, collaboration and genuine commitment to the values that we all respect and the Lebanon we know is possible of evolving out of the ruins, catastrophes and sorrow of the past half a century.
