Israel Threatens Britain With Retaliation Over UK Sanctions on E1 Settlement Project

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar issued an explicit warning to the United Kingdom, threatening that Israel will “act against Britain” if London proceeds with plans to impose sanctions over illegal settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank.
As reported by Middle East Eye, Sa’ar declared that “the days are over when you could act against Israel and Israel would not respond,” responding directly to UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband’s announcement of a “comprehensive set of measures” targeting the illegal E1 settlement project.
