CNN BLOCKED FROM FILMING TUNNELS UNDER CEMETERY LEADING TO ALLEGED HAMAS COMMAND CENTRE
February 2, 2024In a recent CNN report, one of its crews was denied permission by an Israeli army general to go with his troops to film a tunnel shaft that allegedly led to a cemetery in Gaza. The CNN crew was doing a report on the desecration and complete destruction of multiple cemetries in Gaza by the IDF who claimed there were Hamas tunnels and command centres beneath them and so they had to destroy them to get to the tunnels.
Well we have heard that story a thousand times now from the IDF and Israeli leadership who continue to try and convince us that the reason the military has destroyed not only cemeteries, but also schools, residential areas, mosques, churches, universities, historical cultural centres and so much more is because underneath them lay tunnels used by Hamas.
This report provides further casts doubt on anything coming from any Israeli.

English Script:
CNN reporter: We’re asking the general if we can actually see the shaft to the tunnel.
But the answer is no.
Israeli army general: There’s all kinds of machinery, which I don’t want you to take pictures of with security…
CNN reporter: But what about if we don’t film it? We just look with our eyes.
Israeli army general: You might fall in. The whole thing can collapse. You have to walk to the edge. The edge is not secure, it can collapse. There’s machinery, so on. It’s not something I’m going to take a risk on. Sorry.
The Israeli military later provided this drone footage showing the tunnel shaft we entered and another one nearby. CNN geolocated the footage using this satellite image. This outline shows where the cemetery once stood. And these are the two tunnel entrances, clearly outside the graveyard. As for the tunnel, they say they found here where the cemetery once stood, the military never provided any evidence.
