Andrew Feinstein Traces Arms Trade Behind Bombing That Killed 21 Members of Palestinian Family

“I want to know who made the bomb that murdered my family, who made the plane that the bombs dropped out of, and who has profited from the murder of my family.”
Those are the words of Ahmed Alnaouq, a Palestinian journalist who learned one night that his family home in Deir al-Balah had been bombed. Twenty-one members of his extended family were killed. Fourteen of them were under the age of 12.
Arms trade investigator Andrew Feinstein had spent years researching the war in Yemen when he met Ahmed. Those three questions changed his book entirely.
The result is Making a Killing: How the West Profits From Slaughter in Gaza and Yemen. It follows the chain from the weapons to the companies that make them, the banks that finance them, and the politicians who license them.
