\nA touching interview with Palestinian footballer Mahmoud Wadi after he had just learned that his had been killed in #Gaza as he was preparing to play against Iran in the Asian Cup in Qatar on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

His determination to play for his cousin and for Palestine to make his people have something positive to think about was moving.<\/p>\n

While Iran defeated Palestine 4-1 in the match, the Palestinians won the hearts of the mu;lt-national crowd that thronged to the stadium wearing the Palestinian colours to show solidarity with them over the atrocities being committed against them in Gaza and the Occupied Territories.<\/p>\n
