According to Christensen, the mainstream media isn\u2019t just biased, it has actively purged any voice that dares to criticize Israeli state policy, leaving Americans in a manufactured bubble of pro-Israel propaganda.<\/p>\n<p>Christensen has pointed out how platforms like YouTube and TikTok have repeatedly suspended or shadowbanned accounts\u2014including his own\u2014for speaking out against the genocide in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that early in the conflict, he was offered $5,000 by an Israeli newspaper to express support for Zionism and Israel, an offer he rejected, realizing the media was working to paint a one-sided picture while thousands were being slaughtered.<\/p>\n<p>Christensen is urging his millions of followers to stop being passive consumers of corporate media and to start recognizing the digital repression happening in real-time. You know, I don&#8217;t take corporate sponsors. I think that&#8217;s the most trustworthy thing. And what we saw in especially Western media after October 7th was they purged any journalist, any anchor or any voice in the mainstream media that was critical of Israel in any way or supportive or empathetic in any manner to Palestinians. They kicked them off. They shut down their shows. Those people went to platforms like Substack, and that&#8217;s where I think a lot of the new media is being built, like Dropsite news, like Zeteo, and other outlets that are starting to come together and form what I hope is the future of new media that is not owned by billionaires, that is not owned by corporations or some, you know, genocidal state influencing their reporting. But it is community funded, it is in service of the public interest. And this is a war online. Israel calls it the eighth front, the digital front, the war of propaganda, the information war, the war on the American people&#8217;s minds, we are soldiers in this digital battleground.
