For decades, the mainstream media has tried to paint the geopolitical conflict as a simple clash of religions, but the loudest voices dismantling that myth are coming from within the Orthodox Jewish community itself. Activists from Neturei Karta, a global movement of Orthodox Jews who fiercely oppose the political ideology of Zionism, are continually taking to the streets to declare that the state of Israel does not speak for their faith.<\/p>\n

Elders within the community have blasted the Israeli government for weaponizing Judaism to shield itself from accountability for war crimes, labeling the ongoing occupation, blockade, and military violence as a complete desecration of the Jewish faith.<\/p>\n

Zionism is a modern political movement; Judaism is an ancient faith built on justice, compassion, and peace. By standing on the front lines, these Orthodox elders are proving to the world that being true to their faith means standing against the oppression of Palestine.<\/p>\n
