NEW YORK \u2014 Decades before the full scale of Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s sex trafficking network was exposed, artist Maria Farmer attempted to blow the whistle on the operation. In 1996, Farmer filed a detailed report with the FBI and local authorities, warning officials about the systemic abuse of young girls orchestrated by Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Her warnings were tragically dismissed and left uninvestigated, enabling Epstein to expand his predatory network unchallenged for more than twenty years.<\/p>\n

Seeking systemic accountability, Farmer filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. government for its failure to act on her initial report. The legal challenge underscores deep institutional failures within federal law enforcement, proving that the early warning signs to protect vulnerable victims were actively overlooked.<\/p>\n
