Cardiff University researcher Amal Saad delivers one of the strongest criticisms of the proposed Lebanon agreement, describing it as a form of \u201cself-colonization\u201d and accusing the Lebanese government of enabling Israel to \u201cgenocide and ethnically cleanse\u201d southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n

These are Saad\u2019s views and are presented alongside Lebanese President Joseph Aoun\u2019s defence of the agreement, who argues that Lebanon chose negotiation after years of conflict because war had failed to achieve lasting results.<\/p>\n
