In a chilling investigation published by Al Jazeera English (@aljazeeraenglish ) and AJE Untangles (@ajeuntangles ), B’Tselem Executive Director Yuli Novak and UC Berkeley Professor Scott Straus expose how the Israeli military weaponized three artificial intelligence systems—The Gospel, Lavender, and Where’s Daddy?—to manufacture targets and execute Palestinians on an industrial scale.

As Novak chillingly observes: “There’s one thing to kill a person that you see his face in front of your eyes. It’s another thing to kill a person that you see on a screen, which is probably easier, and it’s probably a step forward to kill a person who is a number.”

An AI algorithm that systematically processed data on nearly 2.3 million Gaza residents to flag up to 37,000 Palestinians as pre-approved targets—often with as little as 20 seconds of rubber-stamp human review.

Lavender marked up to 37,000 people for assassination, while “Where’s Daddy?” tracked targets to their family homes so missiles would strike when their wives and children were inside.

Turning human lives into numerical codes on a screen to automate mass slaughter is absolute barbarism. 🇵🇸
