His argument was simple: cars are safe because car companies have to operate to code. Houses are safe because builders follow laws. AI companies, he said, are operating in a way that \u201cthe law should be shutting them down\u201d until they can prove their products are safe.<\/p>\n<p>Then he turned on the politicians. Lawmakers have been \u201cslow\u201d and \u201ctimid,\u201d he said, and taking money from the Big Tech lobby, \u201csome of the guys in this room.\u201d AI companies, allies and executives spent at least $83 million on federal elections in 2025, according to the New York Times, and they\u2019re set to spend more this year.<\/p>\n<p>His answer isn\u2019t despair. It\u2019s a ballot. Find out where your candidates stand on AI, and if they stand for \u201canything less than strong regulation now,\u201d don\u2019t vote for them.<\/p>\n<p>The warnings are real. The motivation is natalism forcing women to have more children than they otherwise would if they were given the choice. There are a lot of terrifying underlying messages in these comments, even from the very start describing divorce as a tragedy where when you actually look at the statistics, the right to divorce massively decreased the homicide rate for women in this country because they&#8217;re able to leave scary and abusive situations. So while lawmakers at the state level are trying to make it harder for women to get divorces, their weird billionaire buddies are trying to dose women with unregulated oxytocin to force them to stay in love with their husbands. The thing that they don&#8217;t say out loud, but it is implied multiple times in this conversation, is that people should be dosing women with this stuff unknowingly. The most disturbing part of the whole video is the reaction of the hosts in the audience as they giggle along with these suggestions. It&#8217;s not a joke. They are completely serious.
