He argues that US law, the Leahy Laws, already bars military aid to foreign forces accused of gross human rights violations, so \u201cwe\u2019re in violation of our own law right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His bottom line: \u201cAt minimum, we need to condition this aid. But if it were up to me, I do not think that we should be aiding and abetting a genocide by either providing taxpayer-funded weaponry or selling it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Say what you want about his politics. And the current configuration of the State of Israel is a religious supremacist, one that privileges Jewish citizens above Palestinians.
