\n An Israeli settler in a stunningly candid admission of systemic segregation: <\/p>\n

In a rare and deeply revealing interview filmed inside the illegal settlement of \u201cAriel\u201d in the occupied West Bank, an Israeli settler openly admitted to the reality of state-enforced apartheid. When pointedly asked by a journalist, \u201cYou took their land and built a wall, and when they try to get it back, you call them terrorists?\u201d, the settler responded directly: \u201cYou nailed it… It\u2019s almost like an apartheid state, this is not our land and we shouldn\u2019t have settled here.\u201d
\nThis extraordinary acknowledgment cuts straight through decades of official state rhetoric used to justify the expanding settlement enterprise. Under international law, including the Rome Statute and findings by the International Court of Justice, the systemic seizure of Palestinian land, the construction of separation barriers, and the establishment of segregated outposts are recognized as a structural system of apartheid. When those living within the system itself can no longer deny its true nature, the moral and legal defense of the occupation completely falls apart.<\/p>\n
