Tel Aviv has granted 12 gas exploration licenses to 6 local and international companies in areas within Palestinian maritime zones.<\/p>\n

This is a violation of international law, as 20 nautical miles from Gaza\u2019s coast fall within the maritime jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority.<\/p>\n

They violate the Oslo Accords and The Hague Regulations prohibit Israel from extracting or profiting from Palestinian natural resources.<\/p>\n

They have no shame in KILLING or STEALING.<\/p>\n

This is the whole reason for the WAR. Hamas is the only thing standing between Israel thieving all of Palestine\u2019s natural resources and pocketing the profits to further expand its evil empire and corporations from western nations including the USA, Britain, France and Germay are the beneficiaries of those licences. \nTRT World: Israel is continuing to strip Palestine\u2019s Gaza of its natural resources. Since October 7, the Israeli government has handed out 12 gas explorations licenses to 6 Israeli and international companies in Palestinian maritime areas. The licenses were awarded after a fourth round of bidding launched by Israeli government in 2022. The exploration areas they cover include Zone G, 62% of which belongs to the State of Palestine. Additionally, Israel has issued tenders for zones H and E. Around 73% of Zone H and 5% of Zone E are within Palestine\u2019s declared maritime boundaries. According to the 1995 Oslo II Accord, up to 20 nautical miles from the Gaza coast falls within the maritime jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority. The Hague Regulations also state that Tel Aviv is prohibited from extracting or profiting off of Palestinian natural resources for commercial gain or for the benefit of the occupying power, Israel. Experts say Israel\u2019s move to exploit Gaza\u2019s gas reserves, highlights Tel Aviv \u201cdisregard for International Law\u201d. Rights groups have sent legal notices to the companies awarded the licenses.
