During Ramadan, Mohamed Shahin takes to the streets of north Gaza, conducting a contest to spread joy among the residents.<\/p>\n

He encounters an elderly lady, weary yet spirited. As part of the contest, she completes a Quranic verse about patience, earning a prize.<\/p>\n

In a turn of events, she reveals she\u2019s the mother of three martyrs, and that she is a model for true patience. Despite her losses and the destruction of her homes in the last war, her faith remains unshaken.<\/p>\n

She shares the breadth of her family\u2019s suffering, from displacement to dealing with lack of resources, all while carrying the heavy title of a mother of martyrs.<\/p>\n
