Overnight, Iran launched operation \u201cTrue Promise\u201d by sending hundreds of missile and drone strikes against Israel in retailiation for Israel\u2019s unwarranted bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus two weeks ago. This was the first time Iran has ever struck at Israel directly.<\/p>\n

Around 5000 missiles were fired by Iran against strategic targets in Israel. While many were intercepted, a substantial number were still able to penetrate the Iron Dome and hit targets in Israel, including the Ramon Airbase south of Be\u2019r Al Sab\u2019 (\u0628\u0626\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0628\u0639), sending a clear warning to Israel that it is vulnerable.<\/p>\n

The skies over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv lit up as hundreds of missiles coulds be seen crossing the night sky over the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Israeli Knesset.<\/p>\n

Two different angles of footage show Iranian missiles striking the Ramon military base after air defence systems failed to intercept them.<\/p>\n

Palestinians witnessed the barrage of missiles and cheered on the Iranian attack.<\/p>\n

While Jordanian jets shot down dozens of Iranian missiles, there were too many for the defensive manouver to have any real impact.<\/p>\n

Following the strike Iran\u2019s Permanent Mission to the Un released a statement saying: \u201cIran\u2019s retaliation to Israel\u2019s strike on its consulate in Damascus \u201ccan be deemed concluded.\u201d<\/p>\n

The office warned, however, that \u201cshould the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran\u2019s response will be considerably more severe\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!,\u201d it continued.<\/p>\n
