The international community has reacted with alarm after Iran launched explosive drones and fired missiles at Israel in its first direct attack on Israeli territory. Tehran had been threatening to attack Israel after an air raid on April 1, widely blamed on Israel, destroyed Iran\u2019s consulate in Syria, killing 12 people, including two elite Iranian generals.<\/p>\n

US President Joe Biden condemned the Iranian attacks and pledged a coordinated G7 diplomatic response. Biden reiterated the \u201cironclad\u201d US support for Israel\u2019s security in a call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu…Tomorrow [Sunday], I will convene my fellow G7 leaders to coordinate a united diplomatic response to Iran\u2019s brazen attack,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

EU Foreign Policy Chief, Josep Borrell \u201cstrongly condemned\u201d the attack saying it was \u201cunacceptable\u201d in a post on X.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an unprecedented escalation and a grave threat to regional security,\u201d Borrell continued.<\/p>\n

What strikes me as REMARKABLE, is how BLATANT AND BELLIGERENT all those nations are, who outwardly and publicly voiced their support for Israel and condemned Iran BUT WERE SILENT WHEN ISRAEL ATTACKED IRAN\u2019S EMBASSY IN DAMASCUS.<\/p>\n

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? WHAT DO THEY TAKE US FOR? ARE WE THE PEOPLE REALLY THAT STUPID AS TO SWALLOW THEIR DUPLICITOUS DOUBLE STANDARDS?
