In a robust interview on Britain\u2019s Sky News yesterday, we finally witnessed some meaningful journalism when Britain\u2019s Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron was questioned by presenter Kay Burley on the recent attack by Iran on Israel.<\/p>\n

In a stunning admission Lord Cameron, admitted that any nation had \u201ca right to respond when they feel they\u2019ve suffered an aggression\u201d.<\/p>\n

When Burley asked: \u201cWhat would Britain do if a hostile nation flattened one of our consulates?\u201d Cameron responded: \u201c…we would take the very strong action\u201d to which Burley replied \u201cand Iran would say that that\u2019s what they did\u201d.<\/p>\n

Whilst Cameron tried to paint Iran\u2019s attack as disproportionate Burley wasn\u2019t buying it and neither should anyone. If Iran\u2019s strategic attack which was meant to limit damage and casualties was disproportionate, HOW THEN WOULD YOU DESCRIBE ISRAEL\u2019S ERASING OF GAZA AND SLAUGHTER OF 33,000 INNOCENT CIVILIANS?<\/p>\n

The level of hypocrisy being displayed on the world stage by those with the highest level of authority and responsibility is astounding!<\/p>\n

David Cameron: Well, we would take the very strong action.<\/p>\n

Kay Burley: And Iran would say that that’s what they did.<\/p>\n

David Cameron: Well, what they did, as I said, was a massive attack.<\/p>\n

Kay Burley: So, they\u2019re right to respond but they overreacted, is what you’re saying.<\/p>\n

David Cameron: What I’m saying, the attack they carried out was on a very large scale much bigger than people accepted.<\/p>\n

Kay Burley: Do they have a right to respond?<\/p>\n

David Cameron: Well, countries have a right to respond when they feel they’ve suffered an aggression, of course they do. But look at the scale of that response. Had those weapons not been shot down\u2026<\/p>\n

Kay Burley: So, they have a right to respond but they just overreacted.<\/p>\n

David Cameron: There could have been thousands of casualties, including civilian casualties. I think that’s a really important point to take into account.<\/p>\n

Kay Burley: Do you think Netanyahu has sound Judgment?<\/p>\n

David Cameron: Look, we have to work with the prime ministers and the governments that are there. And we have as I say, he has good judgment on many things but there are times that we profoundly disagree and when we do, we should have frank conversations. That’s what friends do. <\/p>\n

Kay Burley: What’s his bad judgment been of late?<\/p>\n

David Cameron: Well, I think not letting more Aid into Gaza, that I think was a mistake.<\/p>\n

Kay Burley: Is it bad judgment or good judgment to hit Iranian Sovereign territory in Damascus?<\/p>\n

David Cameron: That was something the Israelis decided to do. We haven’t made\u2026Well, let me I’ll answer the question which is\u2026I can completely understand the frustration the Israelis feel when they look at the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.<\/p>\n

Kay Burley: What about Iran’s frustration at part of its Sovereign territory being flattened?<\/p>\n

David Cameron: Well, I would argue there is a massive degree of difference between what Israel did in Damascus and, as I said, 301 weapons being launched by the state of Iran at the state of Israel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
