American political scientist, John Mearsheimer, points out the burden Israel has become on US foreign policy.<\/p>\n

\u201cIsrael is an albatross around our neck.\u201d<\/p>\n

He goes on to highlight the failed mission Israel has pursued in Gaza, dragging both the US and its reputation down without winning the war against Hamas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no question that they haven\u2019t defeated Hamas…They claim they\u2019ve killed 12000. I doubt the number\u2019s that high…12000 out of 40,000 leaves a lot of fighters still alive…Hamas is in effect going to win this war.\u201d<\/p>\n

Israel continues its invasion of Gaza however has withdrawn most brigades from within. The IDF\u2019s death tolls have increased and the ever hopeless plan to \u2018eradicate Hamas\u2019 is only diminishing.<\/p>\n
