\nSam Tarry: Nobody should be having to pay tens of thousands of pounds to get across the border at Rafah. We should be able to put in place things through our immigration system so those people, you know, can get those digital fingerprints in place. They can actually make those applications and do so in a way that’s obviously right for our country. But of course, allows those people to leave and leave quickly and to arrive on our shores and to safe haven as quickly as possible. And I believe actually that on top of that, those people should be able to work immediately because many of those people are already, you know, are doctors, they are academics, you know, the Gazan people are highly, highly skilled and incredibly intelligent and well-educated workforce of people. And many of them would absolutely love to do that and give their contribution in return to safety from the refuge, the barbarity that they are facing.<\/p>\n
