A powerful rally by students at Tel-Aviv University marking the 76th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba faced fierce counter-protests from right-wing Israelis, escalating to violence and police intervention.<\/p>\n

Despite the university\u2019s approval following High Court intervention, students were banned from raising Palestinian flags and instead held watermelon placards as symbols of resistance. Organized by Hadash, a leftist political party advocating for the recognition of Palestinian Arabs as a national minority within Israel, this protest highlights the ongoing struggle for justice and equality within Israel and growing rift between the fascists and the those who truly believe in democracy. \u270a\ud83c\udffd\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf8<\/p>\n
