Palestinian freelance journalist Saif Kwasmi was attacked by a mob of young ultranationalist zionists during the Jerusalem Day flag march.<\/p>\n

Kwasmi was covering the demonstration that commemorates Israel\u2019s capture of the city\u2019s eastern sector in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.<\/p>\n

In one video, purportedly filmed by Kwasmi himself, a group of young Israeli men are seen shouting at the journalist before kicking and punching him.<\/p>\n

In one of his images, Kwasmi, wearing a press vest, faces off against the mob. Another image shows him holding his head in pain while laying on the ground.<\/p>\n

Thousands of far-right nationalists marched through the old city provoking residents and shopkeepers with heavy police presence.<\/p>\n

The agitators shouted hateful slogans, including \u201cWe will burn your villages,\u201d \u201cAll Arabs can suck it,\u201d and \u201cMuhammed is dead,\u201d in reference to the prophet of Islam, peace be upon him.<\/p>\n

Far-right Israel ministers also took part in the event.<\/p>\n
