This is a telling interview from @onthereidout with one of the family members of the hostages explaining that one of the reasons behind Netanyahu’s aggressive actions in Gaza is to protect his political career.

Netanyahu’s policies are so autocratic that his own citizens were in the streets by the tens of thousands before 10/7 protesting against him and his government. His focus on land grabs in the West Bank and empowering Hamas in Gaza to prevent a two-state solution, as well as his pending criminal trial may have also caused him to put a hood on citizens in danger, and may currently be prompting him to inflict mass death on the civilians in Gaza.
